Create a Region

Description: This article explains how to add a Region within your System.

Regions can be comprised of one or more covered entities. The Region dashboard displays the same layout as the System dashboard but allows for a filtered view based upon the covered entities within the Region. The goal of Regions is to allow organizations with multiple covered entities to create custom views relevant to their management structure. 

Step 1: Click on the Region banner on the System dashboard.

Step 2: Click on the "Edit Roles" in the banner.

Step 3: Add the name of the region in the "New Region Name" field and click the "Add New" button.  A new screen will populate with further fields that will need to be filled in.

Step 4: Add Sub Region (if applicable) name in the "New Sub Region Name" field and click the "New Sub Region" button.

Step 5: Added the Covered Entity(s) that should be in the newly created region.  The user has the ability to add each Entity one by one or to add all of the Entities at one time.  

Step 6: Add a Filter via the Filter CEs field and click the "Set Filter" button. (if Applicable)

Step 7: Click the "Save" button.

Note: You are only able to add regions at your system level.
