Creating and Completing Tasks

Applies to: System Users, Covered Entity Users 

Description: Tasks can be created for outstanding issues (ie for missing or incorrect information within a workscreen), and within workflows (ie auditing or recertifications).

Users can be assigned and subscribed to tasks and will receive email updates. 

 

Create a Task

  1. Click the Create Task button (the task buttons are present in deficiency listings as well as within the auditing, recertification, and HRSA audit workflows. A pop-up will appear. 
  2. Enter the basic information for the task
    • Task description*
    • Assignee*
    • Subscriber(s)
    • Due Date*
    • Comments
    • Associated items- this applies only to tasks created within the requirement workflow. Select one or more issues from the dropdown to have them listed within the task. 
  3. Click the Create Task button.
    • The assignee and subscribers will receive an email notification of the new task and you will be directed to the task page.
    • Use the breadcrumbs at the top of the page to navigate back to previous screens.

Access an Existing Task

Tasks can be accessed from the following locations:

  • The tasking table located on each dashboard. The tasking tables are broken into three tabs: Assigned, Subscribed, and All. 
  • Where the task was first created (ie from a requirement issue or within a workflow).
  • Sectyr Notification email. Click the view button within the email to login and view the task.

Update and Complete a Task

  1. Updated can be made to the task at any time and comments left.
      • To notify assignees and subscribers of changes, select the Save and Send Update button.
      • To save changes without notifying users, select the Save and Don't Send Update button.
  2. Once the content has been updated/ missing elements addressed, the task can be completed by updating the status to Complete within the task page and save.
