Description: This article explains how to access, create, delete, and edit announcements. The purpose of the announcements feature is to disseminate information to users within the solution. Announcements can be created at the Sectyr level, Service Provider level and the System level; only users with the Announcements: Edit permission can create and updates announcements. All users with general viewing permissions can view announcements.  

 

Viewing Announcements:

Announcements can be found roughly 3/4 of the way down the System and CE dashboards as well as within the user portal digest. Announcements will show the date posted, the announcement, the email of the individual who posted the announcement, and the user's organization. The table will show 10 announcements unless changed by the numerical drop down and can be sorted by date posted, posting user and contributor.

Creating, Editing, and Deleting Announcements:

To access the listing page from which announcements can be created, edited, and deleted, click the purple "Created Announcements" bar located beneath the requirement tiles on the System dashboard to be directed to the listing page. 

Create a New Announcement:

To create a new announcement, click the New Announcement button.  Enter the desired dates during which the announcement will appear to all users with access to the solution. Once the end date has passed, the announcement will no longer be available. The dates are required. Add the content within the open text box and utilize the formatting tools as needed. Once completed, click the save button located at the bottom of the screen.

Edit an Announcement:

To edit an announcement, click the green pencil in the action column.  This will take you back to the creation page where the changes can be made. To save the changes, click the save button located at the bottom of the screen.

Delete an Announcement:

To delete an announcement, click the red x in the action column.  A pop up will ask you to confirm that that the selected announcement should be deleted.
