Description: The following steps will guide you through the process of creating and completing the Indigent Care Agreement (ICA) workscreen. This article can be used alongside the article: ICA-Workscreen.

(Tip: Click the information icons Icon-Information-Glyph.png available throughout the workscreen for assistance to navigate the ICA for the requested information.)

To save your work at any time, click the "Save and Continue" or “Save and Exit” button located at the bottom of the screen.

  • Clicking the “Save and Continue” button will save your work while remaining on the same workscreen.
  • Clicking the “Save and Exit” button will save your work then redirect you to the listing page.
  1. Navigate to the Covered Entity dashboard.
  2. Click the Indigent Care Agreement requirement tile.
  3. Click the "New Workscreen" button in the top right corner of the page.
  4. Add a Name for the workscreen.
  5. Click the "Upload New File" button to add the related document(s). For example, the original, amendments, or any other files related to the ICA. You can upload multiple files at once by selecting more than one.
    • If Master Document workscreens have been made available to a covered entity for Indigent Care Agreements, the covered entity’s ICA workscreen will include the option to reference a master document.  If a master document applies to the requirement workscreen at hand, select the appropriate master document workscreen name from the dropdown. This will reference the included documents that are in an executed or archived state.
  6. Once the document(s) are uploaded, continue to fill in the information related to the document(s). Please note: the document(s) status defaults as Draft and will create an issue if left in this state.

  8. Type the Next Review Date or use the "calendar" button to the right of the field to select a date. This will serve as a reminder to revisit this ICA workscreen.
    • It is recommended to set it 90 days prior to the ICA renewal/termination date.
  9. Select the Auto-Renewing/Evergreen Status by selecting Yes or No from the dropdown.
    • If Yes, the ICA auto-renews.
    • If No, enter the Termination Date found within the ICA.
  10. Reference the Signatory by typing the full name of the person from the hospital who signed the ICA.
  11. Reference the Signatory Title by typing the job title of the person from the hospital who signed the ICA.
  12. Fill out the Miscellaneous section by checking the All compliance elements met? box. Use the information icon Icon-Information-Glyph.png to view specific expectations.
  13. Fill out the Government Point of Contact by entering all the information of the government official who can attest to this agreement. If any fields are left blank, it will create an issue until all the information has been entered.
  14. Type Comments into the text box. This is an optional field where you can take note of information within the ICA that you would like to have readily available.
  15. Click the "Save" button to complete the workscreen. (Since SectyrHub 340B has inactivity logout times based on your organization's specifications, Sectyr recommends saving the workscreen if you plan to navigate away from the browser for an extended period of time to avoid losing work.)
