Applies to: All Users that have Multi-Factor Authentication enabled
Description: This article explains the process of enrolling in Multi-Factor Authentication once it is enabled by a Sectyr Support Agent. Once MFA is enabled by Sectyr you will receive an email to enroll in Multi-Factor Authentication.
Step 1: From the email, click the "Login and Enroll" button.
Step 2: Choose the mobile app you would like to use to manage your MFA. Options include Auth0 Guardian, Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Duo or similar mobile apps. If you opt not to use the Auth0 Guardian app and would like to use another service, click I'd rather use "Google Authenticator" (even if using another app like Duo or Microsoft Authenticator). If you choose to use the Auth0 Guardian app, click "I've already downloaded it".
Step 3: A QR code will display on the screen that will need to be scanned by the app that you will be using.
Step 4: Once the QR is scanned a recovery code will be provided. Please take note and keep this somewhere safe. Check the box next to “I have safely recorded this code” and then click the blue button below.
Step 5: After validation, you will be redirected to a screen saying "Congratulations, you are all set. In the future when logging in you'll want your device handy. Click "Continue".
